The Academia de l'Aragonés (in English, Academy of the Aragonese anguage is an organization founded on 15 July 2006 by the ''2nd Congress on the Aragonese'' so as to be the linguistic authority for the Aragonese language. It has no official recognition by the Aragonese government. Aragonese ( ; in Aragonese) is a Romance language spoken in several dialects by about 12,000 people as of 2011, in the Pyrenees valleys of Aragon, Spain, primarily in the comarcas of Somontano de Barbastro, Jacetania, Alto Gállego, Sobrarbe, and Ribagorza/Ribagorça. It is the only modern language which survived from medieval Navarro-Aragonese in a form distinctly different from Spanish. Historically, people referred to the language as ('talk' or 'speech'). Rosario Ustáriz Borra ( Hecho, 1927 – Jaca, August 28, 2009) was a writer and poet who wrote in the Aragonese language, born in the Pyrenean village of Hecho (currently, part of the municipality known as 'Valle de Hecho), in the Province of Huesca (northern Spain), and a native speaker to the Aragonese Cheso dialect (local to the referred valley, and one of the few extant varieties of western Aragonese), in which she developed the whole of her work. As one of the few native speakers of modern Aragonese that have taken some part in its divulgation and conservation, Ustáriz is well appreciated among the community of scholars and supportants of this Pyrenean vernacular, having some of her works been published. ''El Periódico de Aragón'' is an Aragonese daily newspaper, founded in Zaragoza, on 23 October 1990 by Juancho Dumall. It is published by the Grupo Zeta and whose information focuses primarily on Section Aragon, Opinion and Sports. History ''El Periódico de Aragón'' was born on 23 October 1990 and soon began to establish itself as the second largest newspaper in the community just behind the ''Heraldo de Aragón''. Europa Press
The Europa Press was a publishing house founded and run by the Irish surrealist poet George Reavey. The press was based in Paris from its inception in 1932 until 1935, when Reavey moved to London. It ceased operation in 1939. The Europa Press is important in the history of 20th century Irish poetry because it published early work by Reavey, Brian Coffey, Denis Devlin and Samuel Beckett and in a wider context of literary and surrealist history because it published the first ever collection of English-language versions of work by Paul Éluard. This was published to coincide with the opening of the International Surrealist Exhibition in 1936 and featured a drawing by Pablo Picasso and a preface by Herbert Read, and the translators included Reavey, Beckett, Devlin, David Gascoyne, Man Ray and Ruthven Todd.
