The Autovía V-31, commonly called ''Pista de Silla'' ( va, Silla road), is an autovía in Valencia, Spain. It is 13 km (8 miles) long and runs from the junction of the Autopista AP-7 and the Autovía A-7 near the small town of Silla to the Autovía V-30 on the southern outskirts of the city centre. Silla () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of Horta Sud in the Valencian Community, Spain. According to the 2014 census, Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) The municipality has a population of 18,644 inhabitants. The town has six '' casales falleros'', for the different Fallas. Silla has different cultural associations. Because of the great immigration of Andalusian people in the 1960s, Silla has got a ''Casa de Andalucia''. An ''autovía'' is one of two classes of major highway in the Spanish road system similar to a British motorway or an American freeway. It is akin to the autopista, the other major highway class, but has fewer features and is never a toll road. Some distinguishing features of an ''autovía'' are that it must be divided by a median, it must have restricted access, and it cannot be crossed by other roads.
