Andrea Crawford
Andrea Kelly (born July 31, 1985), previously known as Andrea Crawford, is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. She currently skips her own team out of the Capital Winter Club in Fredericton. She is a nine-time New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion skip, winning six straight titles from 2009–2014. Career Juniors Kelly's first national experience came at the 2002 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where she would represent New Brunswick. Her team would finish round robin with a 6–6 record and a seventh-place finish. Although Kelly would not win the New Brunswick junior championship in 2003, she would attend the 2003 Canada Winter Games, where she won a bronze medal. Kelly would return to the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in 2004, where her team would improve on their previous record. They would finish round robin in third place with a 9–3 record. Perth-Andover, New Brunswick
Perth-Andover (2016 population: 1,590) is a village in Victoria County, New Brunswick, Canada. Geography The village is divided by the Saint John River with Perth on the east bank and Andover on the west bank; each was a separate community until municipal amalgamation in 1966. Perth-Andover's population meets the requirements for "town" status under the provincial Municipalities Act; however, it has not applied to change from village designation. The 2009 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from February 21 to March 1 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, British Columbia. Teams Round-Robin Standings Quebec was awarded 2nd Place by virtue of the pre tournament draw to the button plus victories over Team PEI and Team Saskatchewan. 2006 Scott Tournament Of Hearts
The 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's curling championship, was held at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, February 25, 2006 – March 6, 2006. The tournament consists of 12 teams, one from each of Canada's provinces, one from Canada's territories and the defending champion, whose team is known as Team Canada. The tournament was the 25th anniversary of the Hearts. The winner would be Kelly Scott's British Columbia rink who defeated the defending champions, Jennifer Jones in the final. Heidi Hanlon
Heidi Hanlon (born October 9, 1958, in Harvey, New Brunswick) is a Canadians, Canadian curling, curler from Saint John, New Brunswick. Hanlon is an 11-time New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts, provincial women's champion skip, provincial mixed champion and two-time provincial women's seniors championship. She became a Canadian champion for the first time by winning the 2011 Canadian Senior Curling Championships. It was the first women's title for the province. She has played in 11 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Her first Hearts was in 1987, where she finished with a 4–7 record. In 1989, she improved with a 7–4 record, and lost in tie-breaker to Julie Skinner, Julie Sutton. In 1990, she finished 5–6. In 1991, she finished the round robin with an 8–3 record. She won her semi final match against Ontario's Heather Houston, but lost to Julie Sutton once again, in the final of the 1991 Scott Tournament of Hearts. Desirée Owen
Desirée Owen (née Robertson) is a curler from Grande Prairie, Alberta. Career Owen won two provincial junior titles- in 2003 and in 2005. At the 2003 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, her Alberta team lost to Saskatchewan's Marliese Kasner (then Miller) in the semi-fina 2005 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, In 2005, her team posted an undefeated record after the round robin, but ended up losing to New Brunswick's Andrea Kelly in the fina Owen played third for Crystal Webster until she took the 2009-10 curling season off to have a baby. She did however play for the team as an alternate at the 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling TrialsOwen now skips her own team.
