The 2005 Kärcher Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held February 5–13 at the Capital Winter Club and the Lady Beaverbrook Rink in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The winning teams represented Canada at the 2005 World Junior Curling Championships. Brady Barnett (born 18 November 1989) is a New Zealand former first-class cricketer who played for Wellington and Central Districts. Career Barnett played for Nelson (-2012), Saintfield (2012), Wellington (2013-2016) and Central Districts. He also played in the Netherlands for VRA Amsterdam in 2015. Bradley Robert Jacobs (born June 11, 1985) is a Canadian curler from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He is an Olympic champion skip, having led Canada to a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Jacobs is also the 2013 Tim Hortons Brier championship skip and the 2013 World Championship runner-up. He is an eight-time (as of 2017) Northern Ontario provincial champion, and one time provincial junior champion. Jacobs and his team are well known for their physical fitness. Matthew Blandford (born April 16, 1985) is a Canadian curler currently residing in Cold Lake, Alberta. He is originally from Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, and is a three-time Newfoundland and Labrador junior champion. Career Blandford started his curling career as a junior curler in Newfoundland and Labrador. He was the provincial junior champion three times, and represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the Canadian Junior Championships three times. Jared Bezanson (born May 11, 1986 in Kentville, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian curler from Quispamsis, New Brunswick. He currently plays lead on Team Scott Jones. As a junior curler, Bezanson won a silver medal at the 2003 Canada Winter Games. He won three straight New Brunswick junior titles from 2003 to 2005, throwing lead rocks for Daniel Sherrard (2003) and for Ryan Sherrard (2004 and 2005). At the 2003 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the team finished the round robin with a 6-6 record. The team went on to win the gold medal at the 2004 Canadian Junior Curling Championships.
