Allianssi Vantaa
Allianssi Vantaa is a football club based in the city of Vantaa, Finland. It is not the same club as the former Finnish football club, AC Allianssi. Allianssi Vantaa was founded in 2006 and they currently play in the third division of Finnish football, Kolmonen. The club has a total of almost 3000 youth players at Korson Palloseura, Koivukylän Palloseura and Tikkurilan Palloseura, which are clubs that are loosely affiliated with Allianssi. Kolmonen
Kolmonen or III divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 104 Finnish football teams. The III divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kolmonen (''Number Three'' in English and ''Trean'' in Swedish). The competition There are 104 clubs in the Kolmonen, divided in 9 groups of 10 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. AC Vantaan Allianssi (or AC Allianssi) was a Finnish football club, based in the town of Vantaa. History Allianssi were a club in decline, following an 8–0 defeat at fellow Finnish club FC Haka. The match was believed to have been fixed by a Belgian-Chinese betting cartel, which took control of the club in summer 2005. Korson Palloseura (abbreviated KOPSE) is a football club from Korso in Vantaa, Finland. The club was formed in 1980 and currently has over 800 members. Tikkurilan Palloseura (abbreviated TiPS) is a football club from Tikkurila in Vantaa, Finland. The club was established in 1958 and its main catchment areas comprise Tikkurila and Hakunila in Itä-Vantaa (East Vantaa). Tikkurila (; sv, Dickursby) is a district and major region of the municipality of Vantaa, Finland. Located in the eastern half of the Helsinki conurbation, some north of the capital's downtown district, it is the administrative and commercial hub of Vantaa, although Myyrmäki is a rival commercial hub within the municipality.
