Allain Ganapin
Allain Keanu Ganapin (born July 7, 1998) is a Filipino taekwondo para-athlete. Background A native of Marikina, Ganapin's right arm is amputated up to his elbow due to a congenital disorder. He took up taekwondo as a response against bullying upon the suggestion of his high school best friend who was concerned of his situation. His coach Crisanto Angeles, likewise encouraged him to take up taekwondo. Marikina (), officially the City of Marikina ( fil, Lungsod ng Marikina), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. Kurt Bryan Dela Vega Barbosa (born June 8, 1999) is a Filipino taekwondo athlete who competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Career College Barbosa, a student of the National University, has competed in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). In 2018 during UAAP Season 81, Barbosa competing in the finweight category was named Rookie Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player for the UAAP's taekwondo tournament.
