Alison Smith (born 8 April 1970) is a British former professional tennis player. Smith, who comes from Staffordshire, played on the international tour in the early 1990s. Julie Pullin
Julie Pullin (born 5 November 1975), now Julie Hobbs, is a retired British tennis player who turned professional in 1993. She won eight singles titles and 25 doubles titles on the ITF circuit, many with compatriot Lorna Woodroffe. She is most well known for receiving nine wild cards over her career for the ladies' singles at Wimbledon, but failing to win a match. She reached her career-high WTA singles ranking of 125 in April 2000, after she achieved her best performance in a Grand Slam championship, qualifying and reaching the second round of the Australian Open for the first time. Ivana Jankovská (born 17 November 1963) is a Czech former professional tennis player. Biography Born in Přerov, Jankovská began competing on the professional tour in 1989. Jankovská was most successful as a doubles player, with 14 ITF titles and a best ranking of 103 in the world. Elizma Nortje (born 1 February 1966) is a Namibian tennis coach and former professional player. She is the most successful Namibian woman to have played professionally and was the first to be ranked on the WTA Tour. Born in Windhoek in 1966, Nortje represented South Africa as a junior and early in her professional career, before Namibian independence. Shirli-Ann Valentine (born 20 June 1974), formerly Shirli-Ann Siddall, is a British former professional tennis player. Biography Siddall, who was born in Liverpool, had a promising junior career. In 1990 she won seven out of eight national titles in the under-16 and under-18 divisions. Based in Dorset, Siddall played professionally in the 1990s. In 1995 she featured in Fed Cup ties for Great Britain against both Poland and the Czech Republic, in Murcia, Spain.
