Ali Jaafar Mohamed Ahmed Madan ( ar, علي جعفر مدن; born 30 November 1995) is a Bahraini footballer who plays as a winger for Ajman on loan from Al-Riffa and the Bahrain national team. Career Madan was included in Bahrain's squad for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates. He was called-up to participate in the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup in Qatar. 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification – AFC Second Round
The AFC second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, which also served as the second round of 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification, was played from 5 September 2019 to 15 June 2021. Format A total of forty teams were drawn into eight groups of five to play home-and-away round-robin matches. They included the 34 teams (teams ranked 1–34 in the AFC entrant list) which received byes to this round, and the six winners from the first round. Seven group winners (excluded Qatar, who had already qualified to the World Cup as tournament host) and the five best runners-up advanced to the third round. Isa Town ( ar, مدينة عيسى, ''Madīnat ʿĪsā'') is a middle class town located in Bahrain, in the north central part of the country. Etymology The name ''Isa'' refers to Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifah, the ruler of Bahrain from 1961 to 1999. Khalifa Sports City Stadium, also known as Isa Town Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Isa Town, Bahrain. It is currently used mostly for association football. The stadium holds 15,000 people and was opened in 1968. It was last renovated in 2007. Facilities The stadium underwent a $24.4 million (9.2 million BHD) renovation in 2007 that incorporated natural grass on the main football pitch and constructing a new main stand that can carry 3,600 spectators. Another multipurpose sport hall was constructed with a capacity for 3,600 spectators. This hall can host handball, badminton, basketball and volleyball matches. The 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was the 23rd edition of the biennial football competition for the eight members of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation. It took place in Kuwait from 22 December 2017 until 5 January 2018. Oman won their second title, defeating the United Arab Emirates in the final on penalties following a goalless draw. Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium
Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium ( ar, ملعب جابر الأحمد الدولي) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City, Kuwait. Completed in 2009, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes and parking lot with a 6,000 car capacity. It was expected to open in second quarter of 2010, but the building failed structural-integrity testing and remained closed due to a miscalculation by structural engineers for nearly half a decade.
