Alaigal () is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language soap opera on Sun TV. It is a prime time serial. This show had an ensemble cast with Venu Arvind, Jayachitra, Vadivukkarasi, Sri Durga, Reshma, Yuvasri, Viji Chandrasekhar, Absar, S. N. Lakshmi, M.N. Daniel Balaji
T. C. Balaji, better known by his stage name Daniel Balaji, is an Indian actor and writer, who predominantly appears in Tamil and Malayalam films. Early life and career Balaji studied a film direction course in Taramani film institute, Chennai. His uncle is Kannada film director Siddalingaiah, the father of Tamil actor Murali. His nephew is Atharvaa, who made his acting debut in ''Baana Kaathadi''. Balaji began his film career as a unit production manager on the sets of Kamal Haasan's unreleased ''Marudhanayagam''. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts.
