Palakkad Sreeram (born 16 February 1972) is an Indian film singer, who has worked predominantly in Tamil movie industry. ''Vetri Kodi Kattu'' in Padayappa and ''Liquid Dance in'' Slumdog Millionaire are some of his notable works. Family and early life Sreeram was born on 16 February 1972 in a Tamil Iyer family to Smt. Palakkad (), formerly known as Palghat, historically known as Palakkattussery is a city and municipality in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the administrative headquarters of the Palakkad District.
