Aissa Bouaraguia
Aissa Bouaraguia (born July 6, 2001) is a Canadian ice dancer. With his former skating partner, Emmy Bronsard, he is the 2020 Canadian junior national champion, the 2019 JGP Croatia bronze medalist, and finished in the top nine at the 2020 World Junior Championships. Personal life Bouaraguia was born on July 6, 2001, in Montreal, Quebec. He can speak French. As of 2020, Bouaraguia is a student at Cégep André-Laurendeau. Career Early career Bouaraguia began skating in 2006 at Centre Gadbois in Montreal. He originally competed in men's singles and placed sixth on the novice level at the 2018 Canadian Championships. At the event, Bouaraguia was the only novice man to attempt a triple Axel jump. Bouaraguia began competing with Emmy Bronsard in ice dance in 2014. They are the 2016 Québec Sectionals juvenile silver medalists. Avonley Nguyen
Avonley Claren Nguyen (born November 22, 2002) is an American ice dancer. With her former partner, Vadym Kolesnik, she is the 2020 World Junior champion, the 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and the 2020 U.S. junior national champion. She has also won four medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series, including three golds, and qualified to the 2018–19 Junior Grand Prix Final. Olivia McIsaac (born October 30, 2001) is a Canadian former competitive ice dancer. With her former skating partner, Corey Circelli, she is the 2020 Canadian national junior bronze medalist. With her former skating partner, Elliott Graham, she is the 2018 Canadian national junior silver medalist and finished in the top 12 at the 2018 World Junior Championships. Lake Placid Ice Dance International
The Lake Placid Ice Dance International is an annual ice dance competition held in Lake Placid, New York. It was first held in 1932. In 2015 and 2016, the senior international event was included in the International Skating Union's calendar. The event takes place early in the season, usually in late July. 2019 Canadian Figure Skating Championships
The 2019 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships was held from January 13–20, 2019 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Organized by Skate Canada and sponsored by Canadian Tire, the event determined the national champions of Canada. Medals were be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Although the official International Skating Union terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ''ladies'', Skate Canada uses ''women'' officially. The results of this competition were among the selection criteria for the 2019 World Championships, the 2019 Four Continents Championships, and the 2019 World Junior Championships.
