Aishwarya Rajesh (born 10 January 1990) is an Indian actress who works primarily in Tamil films, alongside Telugu and Malayalam films. She is a recipient of four SIIMA Awards, one Filmfare Award South and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Aishwarya started her career as television presenter in a comedy show called '' Asatha Povathu Yaaru?'' on Sun TV. After winning the reality show ''Maanada Mayilada,'' she was cast in the film ''Avargalum Ivargalum'' (2011) and came into prominence after starring in ''Attakathi'' (2012) portraying the role of Amudha. ''Avargalum Ivargalum'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil language romantic drama film directed by Veerapandian. Tamil Nadu State Film Awards
Tamil Nadu State Film Awards were given for excellence in Tamil cinema in India. They were given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The awards were decided by a committee headed by a Judge. The awards were first given in 1967 and discontinued after 1970. The awards were given again in 1977 and continued till 1982. The awards were not given in the years 1971 to 1976.
