Aishath Maain Rasheed
Aishath Maain Rasheed (2 November 1992) is a Maldivian singer. Early life At the age of seven, Maain's interest in music grew as she observes her father, Ibrahim Rasheed, working as a mentor to the students of MES Malé English School, participating in Television Maldives Interschool Singing Competition. In 2000, she presented her first stage performance while studying in Jamaluddin school where she was ranked third in her age category. The following year, she received the first place from her age category and second place in Junior Age Group. Ever since, till 2008, she was placed in the top five of the competition. In 2008, during her last year of secondary education, Maain participated in the National Centre for the Arts Interschool Singing Competition and won several awards including, best performer in her age category, best performer in senior age group and best performer of the competition. Ahmed Mahloof (born 26 March 1980) is a Maldivian politician who served as the Minister of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment. Mahloof is former footballer and manager of the Maldives national football team. He is now a politician who has served as MP for Galolhu-South constituency in the People's Majlis. Mahloof resigned as an MP for Galolhu-South constituency on 17 November 2018 to assume his position as Minister of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment under president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. Hassan Ilham
Hassan Ilham is a Maldivian singer. Career Ilham made his career debut in the late 1990s though his professional career is noted to be initiated in the year 2000 with the studio album ''Hamaroalhi'' where he rendered ten songs for it. The following year, he released the song "Yaaraage Moonu Ma Dhusheemey" from the album ''Mendhan'' and "Rey Nidheegaa E Fenunu HUvafeneh" from the album ''Huvafen'', which were marked as his breakthrough performances in his career. Mumthaz Moosa is a Maldivian former singer. Career Mumthaz was first heard in the early 2000s where he appeared in some of the local stage shows being performed at that time. After his talent was recognized by the music directors, he was offered to record several songs for studio albums and feature films where the songs "Reydhuvaa Gunamun" from ''Rasfarihi'' (2003) and "Hibakuramey" from ''Saahil'' (2004) were some of his earlier releases in his professional career. Mohamed Abdul Ghanee
Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes. Ibrahim Zaid Ali
Ibrahim Zaid Ali (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Kuda Ibbe is a Maldivian singer and music composer. Early life and career Since childhood, Ali had been listening to all genres of songs from Bollywood classical to hip-hop to heavy metal music. At the age of seven, Ali fabricated music equipment including guitar and drum using wood, plywood and tin, where he used these self-made instruments to perform songs in the football stadium.
