''Ainbehge Loabi Firiehge Vaajib'' is a 2000 Maldivian drama film directed by Amjad Ibrahim. Produced by Shiham Rasheed under Motion Picture, the film stars Yoosuf Shafeeu, Jamsheedha Ahmed and Arifa Ibrahim in pivotal roles. Plot Julia (Jamsheedha Ahmed) is being ill-treated by her step-mother Zahidha (Arifa Ibrahim), who is looking after Julia after her father's death. Trying to evade from her responsibilities, Zahidha plans to marry her off to an elderly person. One day, when Julia was walking to a nearby shop, she has been teased by a hideous man Hazaar (Yoosuf Shafeeu) flirting with her. She instantly lashes out to him and walked back to her house. On seeing her younger sister Vileena (Neena Saleem) with her lover, Julia wishes to marry someone and start a happy life. Amjad Ibrahim
Amjad Ibrahim Didi (born 11 September 1967), commonly known as Amjad Ibrahim is a Maldivian film director and screenwriter. Early life After completing eleven years of service in Maldives National Defence Force, Ibrahim decided to pursue a career in film direction due to his "fondness" towards film-making process. His first work as a director was Naifaru Dhohokko's video single "Maslahathu Neiy An'binney", followed by directing six songs for the television program, ''Maazeege Handhaan''. The Gaumee Film Awards aka Dhivehi Film Awards are presented by National Centre for the Arts to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Maldivian film industry. The Gaumee Film Award ceremony is the oldest film events in Maldives. The ceremony had been sponsored by various private organisations in the past as well as in present provisions. A live ceremony was broadcast to television audiences. History A meeting was arranged at MCM on 30 October 1993, once the government decides to hold a Film Festival to honor the film industry. The awards were first introduced in 1994. Out of the twenty two people invited from the fraternity, only ten people showed up for the meeting. Abdul Bari Aboobakur commonly spelled as Abdul Baree (20 March 1967) is a former Maldivian singer. Career In 1990, Baaree started performing in the "Aksheeba" shows without any charge, which helped in gaining recognition from music lovers. Umar Zahir
Umar Zahir (22 November 1963) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Zahir began his career as a musician by joining several music bands in performing at resorts and events. It was then his talent was identified by music composers and producers, where he was offered to lend his voice for several of their compositions. His album series ''Hanhaara'' became a record-breaking album and its songs including "Erey Haadha Rueemey" and "Mooney Thee Hiyy Edhey" became chartbusters upon release.
