Aibyn Presidential Regiment
The Aibyn Presidential Regiment of the State Security Service of Kazakhstan ( Kazakh: Айбынның Президенттік құрметті қорғау полкі, ''Aıbynnyń Prezıdenttik qurmetti qorǵaý polki''; Russian: Президентские полк "Айбын" Службы государственной охраны Республики Казахстан, ''Prezidentskiye polk "Aybyn" Sluzhby gosudarstvennoy okhrany Respubliki Kazakhstan'') is a ceremonial honor guard of the State Security Service of Kazakhstan. It is comparable to the Kremlin Regiment in Russia and the Azerbaijani National Guard. When the Republican Guard was formed in 1992, as decreed by the newly elected President of Kazakhstan, it included a Guard of Honor company called the Ceremonial Battalion. Independence Square, Astana
Independence Square () also referred to as Kazakh Eli Square, is the main square in Astana, Kazakhstan. It was created in October 2009. In September 2015, the square transformed into a historic village in honor of the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. Defender of the Fatherland Day and Constitution Day parades have generally been held on the square.
