Abdul Mutalib Mohamed Daud
Abdul Mutalib Mohd Daud (also known as Mutalib MD; 1961 – 29 June 2013) was an ISA detainee, as well as the founder and chief editor of the news portal ''Sabahkini.net'' in Sabah, Malaysia. At the time of his death, he had completed two as yet unpublished books, one on the banning of Nurul Izzah Anwar from Sabah. In 2011 Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Rais Yatim filed a defamation lawsuit against Mutalib for allegations that the minister had raped his maid. He is the author of over 20 books, two of which, YB and VIP, are about sex scandals among public personalities. The Internal Security Act 1960 ( ms, Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri 1960, abbreviated ISA) was a preventive detention law in force in Malaysia. The legislation was enacted after the Federation of Malaya gained independence from Britain in 1957. The ISA allows for detention without trial or criminal charges under limited, legally defined circumstances. Sabah
Sabah () is a States and federal territories of Malaysia, state of Malaysia located in northern Borneo, in the region of East Malaysia. Nurul Izzah binti Anwar ( Jawi: ; born 19 November 1980) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Permatang Pauh from May 2018 to November 2022 and for Lembah Pantai from March 2008 to May 2018. The Royal Commission of Inquiry on illegal immigrants in Sabah was formed on 11 August 2012 to investigate the problems relating to citizenship and immigrants in the state of Sabah in Malaysia. The inquiry is closely related to Project IC, the alleged systematic granting of citizenship to foreigners. Project IC
Project IC is the name used in Malaysia to describe the allegation of systematic granting of citizenship to immigrants (whether legal or otherwise) by giving them identity document, identity cards and subsequently its current iteration, the ''MyKad''. The alleged practice is centred in the state of Sabah in East Malaysia. The term is used mainly by the Media of Malaysia, media as well as other political commentators and the general public. Another term used is Project M, the "M" referring to former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad due to his being allegedly involved in the spearheading of this project. The alleged object of Project IC is to alter the demographic pattern of Sabah to make it more favourable to the ruling government and certain political parties, especially with regards to changing the election, electoral voting patterns. Megat Junid bin Megat Ayub (8 December 1942 – 24 January 2008) was a Malaysian politician and direct descendant of Megat Terawis, a Bendahara of Perak. Biography Junid was born in Teluk Intan in 1942. Politics Megat Junid was a teacher by profession and first met Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad in the early 1970s. Jeffrey Gapari Kitingan (born 22 October 1948) is Malaysian politician. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister II of Sabah from 2020 to 2023 and State Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries since 2020 (also served in the same position for a brief period in May 2018).
