Abbas Town
Abbas Town ( ur, ) is one of the neighborhoods of Gulshan Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There are several ethnic groups in Abbas Town including Shia Muslim people (Urdu speaking) as majority, Muhajirs, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Gilgiti, and others. Over 99% of the population is Muslim with 80% population being Shia Muslims. The population of Gulshan Town is estimated to be nearly one million. Gulshan Town
Gulshan Town ( ur, ) is a Karachi borough in the northeastern part of Karachi. Gulshan Town was formed in 2001 as part of the Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. Shia Muslim
Shīʿa Islam or Shīʿīsm is the second-largest branch of Islam. Muhajir (Pakistan)
The Muhajir people (also spelled Mahajir and Mohajir) ( ur, , ) are Muslim immigrants of various ethnic groups and regional origins, and their descendants, who migrated from various regions of India after the Partition of India to settle in the newly independent state of Pakistan. The term "Muhajirs" refers to those Muslim migrants from India, mainly elites, who mostly settled in urban Sindh. Saraiki People
The Saraikis ( skr, ), are an Indo-Aryan ethnolinguistic group inhabiting parts of central and southeastern Pakistan, primarily in the southern part of the Pakistani province of Punjab They are mainly found in a region of southern Punjab known as Saraikistan, as well as in most parts of Derajat, which is located in the region where southwestern Punjab, southeastern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northeastern Balochistan meet.
