3 Hours Of Red Bull Ring
The 2013 3 Hours of Red Bull Ring was an auto racing event held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Styria, Austria on 19–20 July 2013. It was the third round of the 2013 European Le Mans Series season, and the series' first visit to the Red Bull Ring. Thiriet by TDS Racing, with drivers Pierre Thiriet and Mathias Beche, won the race over Signatech Alpine, while the LMPC category was led by Paul-Loup Chatin and Gary Hirsch. Ram Racing's Matt Griffin and Johnny Mowlem led the LMGTE category, while Fabio Babini, Kirill Ladygin, and Viktor Shaitar of SMP Racing won the GTC class. Murphy Prototypes
Murphy Prototypes is an Irish auto racing team founded by ex-single seater racer Greg Murphy. The team is based in Dublin and currently, compete in the European Le Mans Series driving an Oreca 03-Nissan in the LMP2 class as well as competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. History The team was founded in January 2012 by former Asian Formula Three Championship driver Greg Murphy. They entered into that years European Le Mans Series in the LMP2 class with an Oreca 03-Nissan. During the opening round of the season at Paul Ricard, they bowed out early after just 64 laps but finished third at the following round in Donington. Proton Competition (also known as Team Felbermayr-Proton) is a German auto racing team founded by Gerold Ried. The team is based in Ummendorf, Baden-Württemberg. They currently operate a Porsche 911 RSR sports car in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series History Beginnings and early years The team was founded in 1996 by Gerold Ried. Ried entered two GT2-spec Porsche 911 GT2 to compete it in the BPR Global GT Series. Both cars #51 and #69 got six points each in the Teams Championship. 1997 saw Proton compete in the inaugural FIA GT Championship season running one 911 GT2. Soheil Ayari (born 5 April 1970) is a Iranians in France, French-Iranian race car driving, driver born in Aix-les-Bains, Savoie, from an Iranian father and a French mother. He won the French Formula Ford championship of 1994, Formula Three championship of 1996 and the Macau Grand Prix of 1997. Nico Verdonck
Nicolas Verdonck (born 5 December 1985) is a Belgian racing driver. He was born in Brussels. Career Formula Renault Verdonck competed in Formula Renault 1600 in 2003, his first year in single seaters. His race engineer was Tim Wright. Formula 3000 Verdonck rose to prominence when he competed in the 2004 International Formula 3000 season with the Astromega team. Although the step up in power and downforce from FRenault to F3000 is a big one, Verdonck was given a degree of stability by the fact that he kept Wright as his race engineer. However, he only scored one point, which was not enough to get him a drive in the new GP2 Series for 2005. ORECA (Organisation Exploitation Compétition Automobiles) is a French racing team and race car constructor, founded in 1973 and run by Hugues de Chaunac, former team manager of F1 team AGS. Oreca has had success in many areas of motorsport. Since the early 1990s the team has concentrated on running sports cars and GT cars. Russian Bears Motorsport, also known as SMP Racing, is a Russian auto racing team based in Moscow. They ran the works team for Lada in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), under the banner of Lada Sport in the 2009 season. Team history Russian Bears Motorsport was formed in March 2007, and started by running BMW 320is in the Dutch Supercar Challenge, with drivers Viktor Shapovalov (who also owns the team), Lev Fridman, Evgeny Zelenov and Oleg Petrikov. Dominik Kraihamer (born 29 November 1989 in Oberndorf) is an Austrian racing driver, who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for ByKolles Racing Team. Career Kraihamer's racing career began in 2004 in karting, where he found success in the Rotax Max Challenge in his native Austria. In 2008 he was runner-up in the Rotax Max Euro Challenge DD2, and fourth in the grand finals. 2008 also saw the start of his car racing career, contesting the FIA GT3 European Championship in a Lamborghini Gallardo for S-Berg Racing. Thierry Marc Boutsen (born 13 July 1957) is a Belgian former racing driver who raced for the Arrows, Benetton, Williams, Ligier and Jordan teams in Formula One. He competed in 164 World Championship Grands Prix (163 starts), winning three races, achieving 15 podiums and scoring 132 career points. His best finish in the World Drivers' Championship was fourth in whilst driving for Benetton.
