31st Hanteo Music Awards
The 31st Hanteo Music Awards () presented by Hanteo Global was held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul on February 17–18, 2024. It recognized the best artists and recordings, primarily based on Hanteo Chart data gathered from January 1 to December 31, 2023. The ceremony was hosted by Changmin. It was broadcast live on SBS M. Criteria All songs and albums that are eligible to be nominated must be released from January to December 2023. Winners and nominees Winners and nominees are listed in alphabetical order. Winners are listed first and highlighted in bold. The list of nominees except Best Artist, Best Album, Best Song and Best Performance was announced on January 3, 2024, through Hanteo Music Awards social media posts. Dongdaemun Design Plaza
The Dongdaemun Design Plaza, abbreviated as DDP, is a major urban development landmark in Seoul, South Korea, designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo, with a distinctively neofuturistic design characterized by the "powerful, curving forms of elongated structures." The landmark is the centerpiece of South Korea's fashion hub and popular tourist destination, Dongdaemun, featuring a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores, and restored parts of the Seoul fortress. Enhypen (; ja, エンハイプン; ''Enhaipun''; stylized as ENHYPEN) is a South Korean boy band formed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation, through the 2020 survival competition show ''I-Land''. BSS (band)
BSS (, also known as BooSeokSoon or Seventeen BSS) is the first sub-unit of South Korean boy band Seventeen. Formed in 2018, the group is composed of DK, Hoshi, and Seungkwan. They are the recipient of a Grand Prize (Daesang) which they won at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards. Name BSS is an acronym that stands for BooSeokSoon, a portmanteau composed of a syllable from each of the band members' names: "Boo" from Boo Seung-kwan, "Seok" from Lee Seokmin (DK), and "Soon" from Kwon Soonyoung ( Hoshi). BoyNextDoor (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean boy band formed by KOZ Entertainment. The group consists of six members: Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak. Bolbbalgan4 (), also known as BOL4 or Blushing Youth, is a South Korean musical act formed by Shofar Music in 2016. They appeared on ''Superstar K6'' in 2014 before signing a contract with their current agency. BOL4 was originally a duo consisting of Ahn Ji-young and Woo Ji-yoon. They debuted with the single "Fight Day" from the mini-album ''Red Ickle'' on April 22, 2016.
