2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup – Women's Tournament
The 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup will be held in Vienna, Austria from 30 May to 4 June 2023, and will be contested by 20 teams. Qualified teams All five FIBA zones are represented. The top 20 teams, including the hosts, based on the FIBA National Federation ranking qualified for the tournament. Players Preliminary round The pools were announced on 8 March 2023. Hailey Van Lith (born September 9, 2001) is an American basketball player for the LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). She previously played for the Louisville Cardinals. At Cashmere High School in Cashmere, Washington, Van Lith was rated as one of the top recruits in her class, named a McDonald's All-American and left as the all-time leading scorer in state history. Cassidie Cierra Burdick (born September 30, 1993) is an American basketball player who is currently playing for Valencia Basket Club. High school Burdick graduated from David W. Butler High School in 2011. She was one of five finalists for the Naismith National High School Player of the Year award in 2011. College Burdick graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2015. Cameron Lee Brink (born December 31, 2001) is an American college basketball player for the Stanford Cardinal of the Pac-12 Conference. Brink attended Mountainside High School and Southridge High School, both in Beaverton, Oregon, where she earned McDonald's All-American honors and was ranked the number three player in her class by ESPN. The 2022 FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup was the fourth edition of the African 3x3 basketball event which was held between 3 and 4 December, 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.
