The 2021–22 Santosh Trophy qualifiers is the qualifying round for the 2021–22 Santosh Trophy, the premier competition in India for teams representing their regional and state football associations. A total of 37 teams competed in the qualifiers to decide the 10 places in the final round of the tournament. Services Football Team
The Services football team is an Indian football team representing the Indian Armed Forces in Indian state football competitions. It is operated by the Services Sports Control Board. Santosh Trophy Services have appeared in the final of the Santosh Trophy ten times, and have won it six times. The team won their first Santosh Trophy in 1960–61 by beating Bengal 1–0 in the final. Since then, they have won the tournament another four times – 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Their latest win came at the 2018–19 Santosh Trophy in Ludhiana, where they beat Punjab 1–0 in the final. Bhavnagar is a city in the Bhavnagar district of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, a States of India, state of India. It was founded in 1723 by Gohil Koli, Bhavsinhji Takhtasinhji Gohil (1703–1764). The Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, locally known as Kaloor Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kochi, Kerala, India. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 spectators. It was a venue in three editions of the I-League, top-tier football league in the country, and home of Bengaluru FC for one season, when they won I-League trophy in first attempt.
