2020–21 Egyptian Basketball Super League
The 2020–21 Egyptian Basketball Super League was the 47th season of the Egyptian Basketball Super League. The champions qualify for the 2022 Basketball Africa League (BAL) season. Zamalek won its 14th national title, after winning in the finals Against Al Ittihad. The season was decided in Game 5, which Zamalek won 84–80 after overtime. Teams 6th of October and El Shams were relegated from the 2019–20 Egyptian Basketball Super League. Geziret El-Ward and Al Zohour joined the league after promoting from the second tier league. Al Ahly Sports Hall
Al Ahly Sports Hall ( ar, صالة النادي الاهلي بالجزيرة) is one of Al Ahly SC club's buildings, and a multi-purpose arena in Cairo, Egypt. It is used by the Al Ahly (basketball), Al Ahly (handball), and Al Ahly (volleyball) sections of the club. History When Al Ahly started to create the teams of handball, basketball and volleyball, they saw it was important to build an arena to host the home matches of these teams, The first time they started to make the designs and searching for funds was 1978, and because of some funding problems the project was postponed. Opening ceremony After many year of waiting Al Ahly finally built its sports hall arena and on February 4, 1994 Al Ahly officially opened the hall in an opening ceremony. Abdulrahman Fawzi Hall
Abdulrahman Fawzi Hall is a covered sports arena in Cairo, Egypt. The arena opened in 1986. The arena is the home venue of the Zamalek SC Handball team of the Egyptian Handball League, the Zamalek SC Basketball team of the Egyptian Basketball Super League, and the Zamalek SC Volleyball team of the Egyptian Volleyball League. All three teams are departments of Zamalek Sporting Club, which owns and operates the arena. Cairo Stadium Indoor Halls Complex ( ar, مجمع الصالات المغطاة باستاد القاهرة الدولي), built in 1991, consists of four multi-use indoor sporting arenas located near the Cairo International Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.
