	Tanta SC Tanta Sports Club ( ar, نادي طنطا الرياضي) is an Egyptian football and sports club based in Tanta, Egypt. The club plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. The club was established on 5 June 1926 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Africa. picture info	Tanta Club Stadium Tanta ( ar, طنطا ' , ) is a city in Egypt with the country's fifth largest populated area and 658,798 inhabitants as of 2018. Tanta is located between Cairo and Alexandria: north of Cairo and southeast of Alexandria. The capital of Gharbia Governorate, it is a center for the cotton-ginning industry. One of the major railway lines goes through Tanta.
