Tanta Sports Club ( ar, نادي طنطا الرياضي) is an Egyptian football and sports club based in Tanta, Egypt. The club plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. The club was established on 5 June 1926 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Africa. Tanta Club Stadium
Tanta ( ar, طنطا ' , ) is a city in Egypt with the country's fifth largest populated area and 658,798 inhabitants as of 2018. Tanta is located between Cairo and Alexandria: north of Cairo and southeast of Alexandria. The capital of Gharbia Governorate, it is a center for the cotton-ginning industry. One of the major railway lines goes through Tanta. Annual festivals are held in Tanta for one week beginning on 11 October celebrating the birthday of Ahmad al-Badawi, a revered Sufi figure of the 13th century, who founded the Badawiyya Tariqa in Egypt and is buried in Ahmad Al-Badawi Mosque, the main mosque of Tanta. Ahmed Samy Saad Abou El Einain ( arz, أحمد سامي سعد أبو العينين, born 31 March 1992) is an Egyptian footballer who plays for Pyramids as a centre-back. Club career Early career Samy started his career at El Khatib Football Academy, after playing well and showing great discipline in the Pepsi Schools League. Before participating in the Pepsi Schools League he had a trial with Egyptian giants Al Ahly youth team, but failed to pass all tests because of an injury. After staying with El Khatib Football Academy for almost 4 years, he was signed by Al Nasr at the age of 15. Al Nasr Samy played 2 seasons with the reserve team before being promoted to the first team in 2009, which was playing in the Egyptian Second Division at that time. Mohamed Salah ( ar, محمد صلاح) is an Egyptian former footballer and head coach. Managerial career Al-Shoulla Salah was appointed manager of the Saudi club Al-Shoulla in June 2011. He made a big impact after winning the Saudi First Division with Al-Shoulla in the 2011–12 season. He then lead Al-Shoulla to 3 wins and 4 losses in the 2012–13 Saudi Premier League season.
