2019 World Team Trophy (cue Sports)
The World Team Trophy was a team cue sports event, held in Roissy-en-France, Paris, France. The event was held between 11–12 March 2019. The event sees teams of three players from different disciplines compete in the disciplines of pool (cue sport), pool, snooker and carrom. The event saw both a men's and women's tournament. The tournament received teams from France, Europe, Asia and Rest of the World. The event was won by Team Europe in the men's competition, whilst Asia won the women's competition. The event was the first tournament of its kind, with all three disciplines being played across tables simultaneously. Anastasia Nechaeva (born 9 May 1993) is a Russian snooker and pool player. She was runner-up in the 2014 and 2015 IBSF World Snooker Championships. Playing career Nechaeva had success in pool as a teenager, including winning the 2009 European Championship Girls Eight-ball championship and the 2009 European Championship Girls Nine-ball championship. She later finished as runner-up at the 2011 WPA World Nine-ball Junior Championship. Jasmin Ouschan (; born 10 January 1986) is an Austrian professional pool player from Klagenfurt, Carinthia. Her first professional competition occurred in 2002, but she did not officially become a professional member of the Women's Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) until 2007. Gülşen Degener (born 25 October 1968, in Şanlıurfa) is a female Turkish-born, Germany-resident professional carom billiards player. Career Gülşen Degener was born in Şanlıurfa, southeastern Turkey on October 25, 1968. She began playing billiards while she was at Uludağ University in Bursa, Turkey, studying English philology and literature.
