2018–19 ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The 2018–19 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating was a series of invitational senior internationals which ran from October 2018 through to December 2018. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earned points based on their placement at each event and the top six in each discipline qualified to compete at the Grand Prix Final in Vancouver. Organized by the International Skating Union, the series set the stage for the 2019 Europeans, the 2019 Four Continents, and the 2019 World Championships. The corresponding series for junior-level skaters was the 2018–19 ISU Junior Grand Prix. The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (known as ISU Champions Series from 1995 to 1997) is a series of senior international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The invitational series was inaugurated in 1995, incorporating several previously existing events. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The junior-level equivalent is the ISU Junior Grand Prix. The 2018 Skate Canada International was the second event of the 2018–19 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec from October 26–28. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
