The 2018 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world, which took place from 1 February to 25 November. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Schedule The table below shows the 2018 schedule. Anne Van Dam
Anne van Dam (born 2 October 1995) is a Dutch professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour, where she has five wins. She played in the 2019 Solheim Cup and the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Van Dam turned professional in 2015. She began playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LET Access Series (LETAS), where she won the HLR Golf Academy Open in Finland. In 2016, she again played on both tours and won the CitizenGuard LETAS Trophy on home turf, and the Xiamen International Ladies Open in China, her first LET title. In 2017, she played mainly on the LET where she finished 3rd at the Hero Women's Indian Open and fourth at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France and Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. She finished fifth on the LET Order of Merit. Meghan MacLaren
Meghan MacLaren (born 15 May 1994) is an English professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. Early life and amateur career MacLaren starting playing golf at age 4 and attended The Ferrers Specialists Arts College between 2005 and 12, where she earned the Young Sportswoman of the Year award in 2009 and Upper School Sportsperson of the Year in 2010. She enrolled at Florida International University in 2012 and played with the FIU Panthers women's golf team. She won eight times before graduating with a degree in English in 2016. Kanyalak Preedasuttijit ( th, กันยลักษณ์ ปรีดาสุทธิจิตต์; born 23 February 1998) is a Thai professional golfer who won the Ladies European Thailand Championship on 24 June 2018. The victory enabled the 20-year-old to take advantage of the two-year exemption membership on the Ladies European Tour. Early life Kanyalak was born on the 23 February 1998 in Chonburi to Anan Preedasuttijit and Nitikan Krissadapon. She has a brother Natkawin who is three years her junior. The Ladies European Thailand Championship is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour and Thai LPGA Tour, first played in 2017. Atthaya Thitikul became the youngest ever winner on the Ladies European Tour by claiming victory in the 2017 championship on 9 July 2017, aged 14 years, 4 months and 19 days, beating the previous record held by Lydia Ko who won the 2013 New Zealand Women's Open The New Zealand Women's Open was a women's professional golf tournament on the ALPG Tour. LET Access Series
The LET Access Series (LETAS) is a professional golf tour for women and the official development tour to the Ladies European Tour. Launched in 2010, the LET Access Series provides players with an opportunity to compete and progress on to the LET. Eligible for membership are all female professional golfers and amateurs over 18 with a handicap of 2 or better. Women's World Golf Rankings As one of the eight major women's tours (along with LPGA, JLPGA, KLPGA, LET, ALPG, Symetra Tour and China LPGA Tour) performances on LETAS carry Women's World Golf Rankings points. Astrid Vayson de Pradenne (born 25 October 1985) is a French professional golfer. She joined the Ladies European Tour in 2018 after winning the dual-ranked Jabra Ladies Open. Career Vayson de Pradenne started to play golf at the age of 15 and within two years had reached a scratch handicap. She turned professional 2011 and joined the LET Access Series in 2013. She was runner-up at the 2016 Azores Ladies Open behind Jenny Haglund, and in 2017 she lost a playoff to Luna Sobron at the Castellum Ladies Open in Sweden. The Jabra Ladies Open is a professional golf tournament, introduced on the Ladies European Tour schedule in 2018. The tournament is played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France and has since 2014 served as European qualifying competition for the Evian Championship, the continental Europe women's major. Jenny Haglund (born 26 June 1993) is a Swedish professional golfer who has played on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour. Career Haglund played college golf at Southern Methodist University before she graduated with a degree in Sports Management and Communications in 2016 and turned professional on June 2.
