The Lalla Meryem Cup is a women's professional golf tournament in Morocco under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. It was held in Rabat until it moved to Agadir in 2011. It moved back to Rabat in 2016. The tournament has been played annually since 1993 and is held alongside the Hassan II Golf Trophy The Hassan II Golf Trophy is a golf tournament in Morocco hosted by Prince Moulay Rachid. Lalla ( 720–790 CE) was an Indian mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer who belonged to a family of astronomers. Lalla was the son of Trivikrama Bhatta and the grandson of Śâmba."Lalla." Klára Spilková
Klára Davidson Spilková (born 15 December 1994) is a Czech professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She won the 2017 Lalla Meryem Cup and the 2022 Women's Irish Open. Early life and amateur career Spilková had a successful amateur career after she was introcued to golf by her older brother Lukas at the age of four. She won the European Young Masters in 2009, and won both the Czech Women's Amateur and the German Girls Open back to back in 2009 and 2010. In 2010 she won the Austrian Women's Amateur. She lost the final of the 2009 French International Lady Juniors Amateur Championship (Trophée Esmond) 1 up to Leona Maguire. 2012 Ladies European Tour
The 2012 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place from February through December 2012. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tour featured 24 official money events. Carlota Ciganda, a rookie, won the Order of Merit with earnings of €251,290. She was also named Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. The season was the first since 1983 not to include an event in the Nordic countries. The South African Women's Open was included for the first time. while the Ladies Open of Portugal was dropped from the schedule, having been a fixture since 2002. Beth Allen (born December 6, 1981) is an American professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET). Allen played on the LPGA Tour from 2005 to 2008 after finishing tied for 25th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. Allen qualified for the Ladies European Tour for the 2009 season. She won her first LET event at the 2015 ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters with former European Solheim Cup winner Sophie Gustafson on her bag. In March 2011, Allen donated a kidney to her brother who had been suffering with a kidney disorder for 12 years. She returned to compete on the tour just two months later, in May. The 2013 Ladies European Tour is a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world, which takes place from February through December, 2013. The tournaments are sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). At present, the tour is scheduled to feature a total of 24 events, including the return of the Ladies Italian Open, which hasn't been on the tour since 2009. It also features the bi-annual Europe vs. USA Solheim Cup, which will rotate its turn to the United States for 2013. Also added to the tour is the Helsingborg Open in Sweden. Leaving the tour for 2013 are the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open (Switzerland), the Ladies Irish Open (Ireland), and the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open (Austria). Nicole Garcia (born 10 December 1990) is a South African professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She was runner-up at the 2015 Lalla Meryem Cup and captained the winning team at the 2022 Aramco Team Series – London.
