Klára Spilková
Klára Davidson Spilková (born 15 December 1994) is a Czech professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She won the 2017 Lalla Meryem Cup and the 2022 Women's Irish Open. Early life and amateur career Spilková had a successful amateur career after she was introcued to golf by her older brother Lukas at the age of four. She won the European Young Masters in 2009, and won both the Czech Women's Amateur and the German Girls Open back to back in 2009 and 2010. In 2010 she won the Austrian Women's Amateur. She lost the final of the 2009 French International Lady Juniors Amateur Championship (Trophée Esmond) 1 up to Leona Maguire. Her performance helped her qualify for the continental team, and she represented Europe at the 2009 Junior Solheim Cup and the 2010 Junior Ryder Cup. Suzann Pettersen
Suzann Pettersen (born 7 April 1981) is a retired Norwegian professional golfer. She played mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour, and was also a member of the Ladies European Tour. Her career best world ranking was second and she held that position several times, most recently from August 2011 until February 2012. She retired on 15 September 2019 after holing the winning putt for the European team at the 2019 Solheim Cup, notwithstanding that she had been away from golf for almost 20 months on maternity leave prior to the event. Ursula Wikström (born 3 July 1980) is a Finnish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. She represented Finland at the 2016 Rio Olympics and won the 2017 Ladies Finnish Open. Career Wikström played college golf with the New Mexico State Aggies and won six college tournaments. She married Mika Wikström, who works for the Finnish Golf Federation, in early 2005 and changed her name from Tuutti to Wikström. The Women's Irish Open is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET), held in the Republic of Ireland. The tournament became part of the LET schedule in 1994 and ran for ten editions through 2003. After a four-year hiatus, the tournament was revived again in 2008 as part of the buildup to the 2011 Solheim Cup, scheduled for late September at Killeen Castle in County Meath. Killeen Castle hosted the Ladies Irish Open in early August, the week following the Women's British Open. Jana Melichová (born 22 October 1997) is a Czech professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. She won the 2022 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. Early life and amateur career Melichová was born in Prague and became a member of the Czech National Team, representing her country in six consecutive European Ladies' Team Championships between 2016 and 2021. In 2014, she won the Czech Amateur Tour Final and in 2018 she won both the Czech National Match Play Championship and the Czech International Amateur Championship. Golf At The 2020 Summer Olympics
Golf at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan featured two events, individual competitions for men and women. Golf returned to the Olympics in 2016, for the first time since 1904. The 2020 qualification system and format of the events were the same as used in 2016. 60 players qualified for each event, which consisted of a 72-hole individual stroke play tournament, played over four days. The men's event was played first, starting on 29 July, with the women's event starting on 4 August. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was played behind closed doors. Venue The tournaments were played on the East course at Kasumigaseki Country Club.
