2016 Women's Ice Hockey World Championships
The 2016 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships were the 18th such series of tournaments organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams participated at several levels of competition. These tournaments also served as qualifications for the 2017 competition and finalized seeding for the 2018 Winter Olympics qualification. Jaca (; in Aragonese: ''Chaca'' or ''Xaca'') is a city of northeastern Spain in the province of Huesca, located near the Pyrenees and the border with France.
