2014 Asian Men's Volleyball Cup
The 2014 Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2014 AVC Cup for Men was the fourth edition of the AVC Cup for Men, played by top eight teams of the 2013 Asian Championship. The tournament was held at Baluan Sholak Sports Palace, Almaty, Kazakhstan from 18 to 24 August 2014. Pools composition The teams are qualified based on their final ranking at the 2013 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. Han Sun-soo (Hangul: 한선수; born December 16, 1985 in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do) is a volleyball player from South Korea. He currently plays the setter position for the Incheon Korean Air Jumbos in the V-League. Career Clubs After playing college volleyball at Hanyang University, Han was selected sixth overall by the Korean Air Jumbos in the 2007 V-League Draft. Before the draft, You Kwang-woo of Inha University and Han were widely considered the two best setters available in the 2007 draft, and scouts and analysts debated who should be selected first. While most deemed You the more experienced setter and the safer pick, many favored Han's taller stature and greater setting speed. Park Chul-woo (Hangul: 박철우; born in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do) is a South Korean male volleyball player. On club level he currently plays for the Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm. Career Club career Park began his professional career out of high school in 2004 after signing a contract with the Hyundai Capital Skywalkers. An unrestricted free agent in the 2010 offseason, Park was signed by the Samsung Fire Bluefangs on May 31.
