2024 PDC Pro Tour
The 2024 PDC Pro Tour is the current series of non-televised darts tournaments and European Tour events organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Players Championships and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. There will be thirty Players Championship events and thirteen PDC European Tour events, as well as 24 events for the Challenge and Development Tours, and the Women's Series. PDC ProTour Order of Merit as of 2 Sep 2024:Prize money in the tables is in units of £1,000. Prize money This is how the prize money is divided: PDC Tour Card 128 players are granted Tour Cards, which enables them to participate in all Players Championships events, the UK Open and qualifiers for all European Tour and select televised events. Darts
Darts or dart-throwing is a competitive sport in which two or more players bare-handedly throw small projectile point, sharp-pointed projectile, missiles known as dart (missile), darts at a round shooting target, target known as a #Dartboard, dartboard. Wunderland Kalkar
Wunderland Kalkar is an amusement park in Kalkar, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is built on the former site of SNR-300, a nuclear power plant that never went online because of construction problems and protests. Riesa
Riesa is a town in the district of Meißen in Saxony, Germany. It is located on the river Elbe, approximately northwest of Dresden. History The name ''Riesa'' is derived from Slavic ''Riezowe''. This name, romanised as "Rezoa", appears first in October 1119 in a document from Pope Callixtus II. The world's first 110 kV power line was installed between Riesa and Lauchhammer in 1912. The 2024 International Darts Open was the third of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2024 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the SACHSENarena, Riesa, Germany from 12 to 14 April 2024. It featured a field of 48 players and £175,000 in prize money, with £30,000 going to the winner. Gerwyn Price was the defending champion after defeating Michael van Gerwen 8–4 in the 2023 final. Martin Schindler won his first European Tour title and first senior PDC title overall, beating Gerwyn Price 8–5 in the final. The 2024 Blåkläder Belgian Darts Open was the first of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2024 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Oktoberhallen, Wieze, Belgium from 8–10 March 2024.
