2023 24H GT Series
The 2023 24H GT Series powered by Hankook is the ninth season of the 24H Series with drivers battling for championship points and titles and the fourteenth season since 24H Series#Creventic, Creventic, the organiser and promoter of the series, organises multiple races a year. The races are contested with Group GT3, GT3-spec cars, Group GT4, GT4-spec cars, Sports car racing, sports cars and 24H-Specials, like Silhouette racing car, silhouette cars. 24H Series
The 24H Series is a sports car racing and touring car racing series developed by Creventic and with approval from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It features GT3-spec cars, GT4-spec cars, sports cars, touring cars and 24H-Specials, like silhouette cars. The calendar consists only of 24-hour and 12-hour races. 2015 was the first season with drivers battling for championship points and titles. It also marked the first season with official FIA International Series’ status. Creventic Dutch agency Creventic is the organiser and promoter of the series. Their goals are to organise races with "low costs, a convivial atmosphere with teams and drivers from all over the world and fair competition on the track." Ferrari 488
The Ferrari 488 (Type F142M) is a mid-engine sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The car replaced the 458, being the first mid-engine Ferrari to use a turbocharged V8 since the F40. It was succeeded by the Ferrari F8. Loris Kessel (1 April 1950 – 15 May 2010) was a racing driver from Switzerland. Biography He was born in Lugano and died in Montagnola following a long illness. He participated in six Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 2 May 1976. He scored no championship points. In 1976, he drove a Brabham for RAM, and in 1977 he drove his own Apollon- Williams, although this car was not a success. Kessel ran a series of car dealerships in Switzerland and his own racing team, competing in Ferrari Challenge series in Italy and the main European series. Pierre Kaffer (born 7 November 1976 in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a race car driver from Germany, currently living in Switzerland. The Audi R8 (Type 4S) is the second generation of the R8 sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Audi. Phoenix Racing is a motor racing team based at the Nürburgring in Germany. Circuito Internacional De Vila Real
The Circuito Internacional de Vila Real is a temporary street circuit in Vila Real, Portugal. This circuit was used for car and moto races. The circuit The circuit layout has suffered several changes through the times. Started as a street circuit in 1931, it was later reduced to a version in the 1950s, which lasted until 1991, with small chances in some corner, chicanes introduction and start/finish line being moved forward. After a deadly accident in 1991, no race would take place in this circuit until 2007, after a length reduction to a long renovated layout. From the original circuit, remains the up and downhill section, from turn 6 (Boque), until turn 19, that drivers used to turn left. This section also gives the track big elevation changes.
