2022 Men's Pan American Cup
The 2022 Men's Pan American Cup was the sixth edition of the Men's Pan American Cup, the quadrennial international men's field hockey championship of the Americas organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation. It was planned to be held alongside the women's tournament from 7 to 22 August 2021 in Tacarigua, Trinidad and Tobago. However, following the postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to July and August 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled and on 4 September 2020 the hosts Trinidad and Tobago withdrew from hosting the tournament. In November 2020, Pan American Hockey Federation announced that the cup was going to be held from 20 to 30 January 2022 in Santiago, Chile. Argentina were the defending champions, winning the 2017 edition. They defended their title as they won the tournament for the fourth time by defeating the hosts Chile 5–1 in the final. 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup
The 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup will be the 15th edition of the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation. It will be held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and at the 20,000 seat Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, India from 13 to 29 January 2023. Host selection The International Hockey Federation announced in December 2018 that the 2022 Hockey World Cups would be held either in July 2022 or January 2023. Nicolás Della Torre
Nicolás Enrique Della Torre (born 1 March 1990) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Belgian Hockey League club Dragons and the Argentina national team. Club career Della Torre played in Argentina for Ciudad de Buenos Aires. When he became the top scorer of the Argentinian league in 2017, he transferred to the Netherlands to play for Den Bosch. Due to problems with getting an Italian passport to be eligible to play in the Netherlands, he could not play for Den Bosch in the first half of the 2017–18 season. He played in Malaysia Hockey League for Terengganu during the 2017 Dutch winter break. In April 2019, he agreed to play for Leuven from the 2019–20 season onwards. José Leandro Tolini (born 14 March 1990) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a defender for German Bundesliga club TSV Mannheim and the Argentine national team. Club career In 2010, Tolini moved to Belgium to play for the Waterloo Ducks. Maico Casella
Maico Casella Schuth (born 5 June 1997) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for San Fernando and the Argentine national team. Club career Casella started playing hockey at age six in Argentina for San Fernando. In July 2019, he signed for HGC in the Netherlands. He scored 27 goals in two seasons for HGC and he left them in 2021 for another Dutch club HC Tilburg, where he signed for two seasons. In his first season at Tilburg they were relegated and he did not stay in Tilburg for his second season. On 8 July 2022 it was announced he would return to HGC.
