2022 Asian Tour
The 2022 Asian Tour was the 27th season of the modern Asian Tour, the main men's professional golf tour in Asia excluding Japan, since it was established in 1995. LIV Golf alliance With LIV Golf's initial investment in the Asian Tour having been reported in late 2021. The 2022 season marked the introduction of the International Series, which was unveiled in February. The series was to consist of 10 events to be added to Asian Tour schedules over the following 10 years, with each event featuring prize funds between and $2,000,000. Chan Shih-chang
Chan Shih-chang (; born 7 June 1986) is a Taiwanese professional golfer, who plays on the Asian Tour. Amateur career As an amateur, Chan won the 2004 Hong Kong Amateur Open and competed in the 2006 Asian Games, winning the bronze medal in the men's team event. Professional career Chan turned professional in 2008 and has competed on several tours in Asia; the Japan Golf Tour, the Asian Tour, the Asian Development Tour, the PGA Tour China and the OneAsia Tour. He has also competed on the European Tour. Chan has had much success on the Asian Development Tour where he has won six times, including three wins in 2014 when he finished second on the Order of Merit. He won the Eternal Courtyard Open on the PGA Tour China in 2015. Chan's biggest win came at the 2016 King's Cup, an event co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. Professional Golf Tour Of India
The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Tata Steel Professional Golf Tour of India, is a professional golf tour for men based in India. The tour was formed in 2006, as the successor to the Indian PGA Golf Tour, which ran from 1997 to 2006. The PGTI serves as a feeder tour for higher level tours such as the Asian Tour. Many Indian players have become members of the Asian Tour, while a small number have joined the world's leading two tours, the European Tour and the United States-based PGA Tour. The PGTI became a member of the International Federation of PGA Tours in 2009, but its events did not carry Official World Golf Ranking points unless they were co-sanctioned by tours that are included in the world ranking system. The GS Caltex Maekyung Open, as it is known for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament that takes place in Seoul, South Korea. It was established in 1982, replacing the Korea Open as the South Korean event on the Asia Golf Circuit. The Trust Golf Mixed Series is a golf competition held in Thailand. The inaugural two events of the Asian Mixed Series were played back-to-back on the Waterside Course at Siam Country Club, home of the Honda LPGA Thailand, between 7 and 16 April 2022. Asian Mixed Series The 2022 series was held jointly on the Asian Tour and Ladies European Tour (LET), played in Pattaya, Thailand. Both events featured 60 LET players and 60 Asian Tour players, along with 24 sponsor invitations, playing for the same prize fund and trophy. The 2022 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Ratchanon Chantananuwat (; born 4 March 2007) is a Thai amateur golfer who won the Trust Golf Asian Mixed Cup on the Asian Tour as an amateur in April 2022. He became the youngest golfer to win on a tour recognized by the Official World Golf Ranking at the age of 15 years and 37 days. New Zealand Open
The New Zealand Open is the premier men's golf tournament in New Zealand. It has been a regular fixture on the PGA Tour of Australasia tournament schedule since the 1970s. The 2019 event was the 100th edition of the tournament. Since 2014 it has been held as a pro-am in February or March.
