2020–21 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hilltoppers were led by head coach Rick Stansbury in his fifth season and played their home games at E. A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky as seventh-year members of Conference USA. The team finished the season in first place in the C-USA East Division and with the best conference record overall at 18-6 . They defeated 2020–21 UTSA Roadrunners men's basketball team, UTSA and 2020–21 UAB Blazers men's basketball team, UAB to advance to the finals where they lost to 2020–21 North Texas Mean Green men's basketball team, North Texas. Rick Stansbury
Richard Lee Stansbury (born December 23, 1959), is an American college basketball and the current head coach of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball team. He was previously the head coach at Mississippi State. He was hired as the WKU head coach on March 28, 2016. The 2020 Conference USA men's basketball tournament was to be the concluding event of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2019–20 Conference USA (C-USA) 2019–20 Conference USA men's basketball season, men's basketball season. It was to be held from March 11–14, 2020 alongside the 2019 Conference USA women's basketball tournament, C-USA women's tournament in Frisco, Texas, at the Ford Center at The Star. Vincennes University (VU) is a public college with its main campus in Vincennes, Indiana. Founded in 1801 as Jefferson Academy, VU is the oldest public institution of higher learning in Indiana. Central Technical School (CTS or Central Tech) is a Canadian composite high school in Toronto, Ontario. The school is run by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB); before 1998, it was run by the Toronto Board of Education (TBE).
