Central Technical School
Central Technical School (CTS or Central Tech) is a Canadian composite high school in Toronto, Ontario. The school is run by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB); before 1998, it was run by the Toronto Board of Education (TBE). Central Tech is located in the Harbord Village neighborhood of downtown Toronto. The campus address is 725 Bathurst Street. The school has three buildings. The main building is southernmost; it includes the school office and numerous classrooms. Central Tech offers a wide range of programs, including all the core academic courses, as well as concentrations and specializations in visual arts and technical studies. The school also offers enriched levels and special education, including a resource room for students with learning disabilities. As well, the school offers support to students in the transition from high school to university, college, apprenticeship or employment. Central Tech is also one of the TDSB's night-school locations. A Canadian postal code (french: code postal) is a six-character string that forms part of a postal address in Canada. Like British, Irish and Dutch postcodes, Canada's postal codes are alphanumeric. Collegiate Gothic
Collegiate Gothic is an architectural style subgenre of Gothic Revival architecture, popular in the late-19th and early-20th centuries for college and high school buildings in the United States and Canada, and to a certain extent Europe. A form of historicist architecture, it took its inspiration from English Tudor and Gothic buildings. It has returned in the 21st century in the form of prominent new buildings at schools and universities including Princeton and Yale. Canadian Football League
The Canadian Football League (CFL; french: Ligue canadienne de football—LCF) is a professional sports league in Canada. The CFL is the highest level of competition in Canadian football. Adriano Belli
Adriano Belli (born August 25, 1977) is a retired football player who played in the CFL and NFL. Belli is nicknamed "The Kissing Bandit" for his penchant for kissing people on their cheeks. He has gained a reputation for being a kind and funny man off the field and a nasty and annoying player to his opponents on the field. Belli grew up in the High Park region of Toronto and attended Humberside Collegiate Institute for the first three years of high school. He then elected to transfer to Central Technical School in the Harbord Village area of Toronto and commuted by subway to take advantage of Central Tech's football program. Aba Bayefsky
Aba Bayefsky (April 7, 1923 – May 5, 2001) was an artist and teacher. Career Bayefsky was born to a Jewish family in Toronto, Ontario, the second son of a Russian-born father and a Scottish-born mother. He studied at the Central Technical School. During his teens, he attended classes at the Children's Art Centre of the Art Gallery of Ontario, where he was encouraged by such artists as Arthur Lismer, Erma Sutcliffe, Dorothy Medhurst, and A. Y. Jackson. He later studied at the Académie Julian in Paris. Bayefsky enlisted in the RCAF in October, 1942, and was made a Flight Lieutenant. He was appointed an official war artist in December, 1944, assigned to depict airborne operations over north-west Europe. He entered the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp shortly after its liberation and recorded what he saw in sketchbooks (these were destroyed in a fire later). Mario Barone (born January 2, 1948) is an Italian-born Canadian former soccer player who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Career Barone played in the Toronto and District Soccer League in the Fifth Division with Catanzaro in 1964. In 1967, he played with Italia in the First Division of the Toronto and District League.
