2015–16 Greek Basketball Cup
The 2015–16 Greek Basketball Cup was the 41st edition of Greece's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The competition started on September 29, 2015, and ended on March 6, 2016. Format The top six placed teams from the top-tier level Greek Basket League 2014–15 season, had an automatic bye to the quarterfinals. While the eight lower placed teams from the Greek Basket League 2014–15 season, along with the 16 teams from the 2nd-tier level Greek A2 Basket League 2015–16 season, played in preliminary rounds, competing for the other two quarterfinals places. Georgios Printezis
Georgios Printezis (alternate spelling: Giorgos) ( el, Γεώργιος Πρίντεζης, born February 22, 1985) is a Greek former professional basketball player who spent the majority of his career with Olympiacos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. Printezis won back to back EuroLeague titles with Olympiacos in 2012 and 2013. His game-winning shot against CSKA Moscow at the end of the 2012 EuroLeague Final, off an assist from Vassilis Spanoulis, is one of the all-time highlights in the history of the EuroLeague. He earned an All-EuroLeague First Team selection in 2017. While representing the Greece men's national basketball team, Printezis was instrumental in the bronze medal run at the 2009 EuroBasket. Keratsini
Keratsini ( el, Κερατσίνι) is a suburb in the western part of the Piraeus regional unit, part of the Athens Urban Area. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Keratsini-Drapetsona, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. Geography Keratsini is situated on the Saronic Gulf coast, northwest of Piraeus and about west of Athens city centre. The municipal unit has an area of 7.601 km2. Alexandreio Melathron Nick Galis Hall (Greek: Αλεξάνδρειο Μέλαθρον, Σάλα Νίκος Γκάλης) is an indoor sports arena that is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. P.A.O.K. Sports Arena ( el, Κλειστό γήπεδο ΠΑΟΚ) is an indoor arena located in Pylaia, Thessaloniki, Greece, and it hosts the men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball and women's volleyball departments of the multi-sports club PAOK. PAOK Sports Arena is the largest privately owned arena in Greece. It was opened in 2000, and in the same year, it hosted the EuroLeague and Greek Cup final-fours.
