Georgios Printezis
Georgios Printezis (alternate spelling: Giorgos) ( el, Γεώργιος Πρίντεζης, born February 22, 1985) is a Greek former professional basketball player who spent the majority of his career with Olympiacos B.C., Olympiacos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. Printezis won back to back EuroLeague titles with Olympiacos in 2012 EuroLeague Final Four, 2012 and 2013 EuroLeague Final Four, 2013. His game-winning shot against PBC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow at the end of the 2012 Euroleague Final Four, 2012 EuroLeague Final, off an assist (basketball), assist from Vassilis Spanoulis, is one of the all-time highlights in the history of the EuroLeague. He earned an All-EuroLeague Team, All-EuroLeague First Team selection in 2016–17 EuroLeague, 2017. Vassilis "Billy" Spanoulis ( el, Βασίλης Σπανούλης; born 7 August 1982) is a Greek former professional basketball player and current basketball coach for Peristeri of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. Spanoulis spent the majority of his playing career in the Greek Basket League, winning four titles as a member of Panathinaikos and three titles as a member of Olympiacos. He also won three EuroLeague titles, one with the former club (2009) and two consecutive (2012 & 2013) with the latter. A tall combo guard, he is nicknamed Kill Bill, V-Span, and MVP ("Most Vassilis Player"). In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads directly to a score by field goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the basket. The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the HEBA (Greek: ΕΣΑΚΕ) Greek professional basketball association for men.
