2015–16 Campeonato Nacional De Futebol Feminino
The 2015–16 Campeonato Nacional de Futebol Feminino was the 31st edition of the top division of the Portugal women's football championship. It started on 5 September 2015 and ended on 19 June 2016. Viseu 2001 ADSC and União Recreativa Cadima were promoted to the category, replacing Leixões SC and FC Cesarense. CF Benfica won the championship for the second time and qualified for the Champions League. Clube de Albergaria was the runner-up, and Valadares Gaia FC was third. Clube de Futebol Benfica Feminino is a Portuguese women's football team from Lisbon. It is the women's section of CF Benfica. History Futebol Benfica already played in the top Portuguese level in the 1990s. In the 2010–11 season it returned to the category. Though that same season it reached the Cup final, initially it struggled to avoid relegation. But in the 2013–14 season Futebol Benfica rose to the top positions. The next year, 2014–15, Futebol Benfica won both the championship and the cup. Futebol Benfica repeated the feat in 2015–16, winning both the championship and cup again. In the 2015–16 season Futebol Benfica made its Champions League debut. Despite winning two out of its three games, Futebol Benfica was eliminated in the qualifying round. Albergaria-a-Velha () is a town and a Municipalities of Portugal, municipality in the Aveiro District in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 25,252, in an area of 158.83 km². It had 19,687 eligible voters in 2006. History In 1117, Theresa, Countess of Portugal, D. Teresa, Countess of Portucale, and mother of Afonso Henriques the first king of Portugal, donated to the nobleman Gonçalo Eriz the lands that constitute Albergaria-a-Velha. As part of the donation the nobleman was obligated to maintain open a hospice for poor travels. The document referred to this shelter for the travelling poor, or ''albergaria'', and thus the area was known as ''Albergaria''. Caldas Da Raínha
Caldas da Rainha () is a medium-sized Portuguese city in the Oeste region, in the historical province of Estremadura, and in the district of Leiria. The city serves as the seat of the larger municipality of the same name and of the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Oeste (OesteCIM, Intermunicipal Community of the West). At the 2011 census, the municipality had a population of 51,729 in an area of , with 30,343 residing in the city.
