2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Three
The 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket divisional tournament organised by International Cricket Council. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League (WCL) and qualification for the 2019 World Cup. The top two teams in the tournament Nepal and Uganda qualified for the 2015 WCL Division Two tournament, to be held in Namibia, while the bottom two teams United States and Bermuda were relegated to the 2016 WCL Division Four tournament,. Malaysia hosted the event, from 23 to 30 October 2014. It was originally to be held in Uganda, but in September 2014 the ICC shifted the tournament to Malaysia due to security concerns, at the suggestion of the Malaysian Cricket Association. Janeiro Tucker
Janeiro J Tucker (born 15 March 1975) is a Bermudian cricketer, who captained the Bermudian cricket team in their first ever One Day International when they played Canada on 17 May 2006; Tucker took 2/29 off nine overs and scored 17 as Bermuda won the game by three wickets under the Duckworth-Lewis method. He has since gone on to play in twenty six ODIs for Bermuda. Tucker's first top-level domestic cricket came in 1996-97, when he played for Bermuda against the Windward Islands in the List A Shell/Sandals Trophy, taking 1-45 and scoring 3. Kinrara Academy Oval was a cricket stadium located at Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, Selangor, near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Constructed in 2003, it hosted its first recorded match in 2005 when Bhutan Under-17s played Kuwait Under-17s in the Asian Cricket Council Under-17 Cup. The ground was closed on 30 June 2022. 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three
The 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket tournament which took place from 28 April to 5 May 2013 in Bermuda. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League and qualifying for the 2015 World Cup. Nepal were the pre-tournament favourites, but they lost against USA and Uganda in their first two matches. On the other hand, USA and Uganda made solid starts. Uganda remained unbeaten in their first four matches to comfortably secure one of the two available places in the 2014 World Cup Qualifier. In the fifth round of the league, three teams remained in contention for the second qualifying spot, USA having won 3 out of 4 and Bermuda & Nepal both having won 2 out of 4. USA could guarantee progress by defeating the hosts Bermuda, but for Nepal to proceed, they had to defeat Italy by a heavy margin and also rely on a Bermuda victory over the USA.
