2013 Women's Rugby League World Cup
The 2013 Women's Rugby League World Cup was the fourth staging of the Women's Rugby League World Cup. The tournament was held in Great Britain from 26 October, culminating in the final between Australia and New Zealand on 14 July. It was held at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds. Four teams took part and these teams were: Australia, England, France and New Zealand. Participating teams Each team was to play the other three once during the round robin tournament. The top two finishing teams would then contest the final. Samantha Bremner (; born 19 December 1991) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL Women's Premiership and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the NSWRL Women's Premiership. The John Charles Centre for Sport is a sports facility in South Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It consists of the South Leeds Stadium, Aquatics Centre, Indoor Athletics Centre and Tennis Centre. Mount Pleasant stadium, officially known for commercial sponsorship purposes as Fox's Biscuits Stadium, is a rugby league stadium in Batley, West Yorkshire, England. It is the home of the Batley Bulldogs. The Mount Pleasant pitch is sloped and is on a hill overlooking Batley. The end of the ground at the top of the hill has three grandstands. Behind the rugby posts is a terraced stand, which houses the players changing rooms and executive boxes. At the opposite end at the bottom of the hill is an open terraced stand.
