2013 Swedish Golf Tour (women)
The 2013 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the Nordea Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 28th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden and Norway. A number of the tournaments also featured on the 2013 LET Access Series (LETAS). Schedule The season consisted of 10 tournaments played between May and September, where one event was held in Norway. Lina Boqvist
Lina Boqvist (born 25 May 1991) is a Swedish professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour. In 2021 she won the Aramco Team Series – New York teamed with Jessica Korda and Karolin Lampert. She was runner-up at the 2019 Lalla Meryem Cup. Career Boqvist was born in 1991 in Gislaved, Småland, and learned the game at Isaberg Golf Club, home to the Gisvaled Ladies Open on the 1989 Ladies European Tour. As a junior, she collected multiple titles on the Skandia Tour and the Junior Masters Invitational series. Boqvist turned professional ahead of the 2011 season and joined the Swedish Golf Tour, where she won the 2012 Swedish Matchplay Championship. Defending her title in 2013 she lost the final to Anjelika Hammar, but the runner-up finish helped her win the 2013 Swedish Golf Tour Order of Merit. Delsjö Golf Club
Delsjö Golf Club is a golf club located 3 km south of central Gothenburg, Sweden. It has hosted the Delsjö Ladies Open and Gothenburg Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour. History Located in the Delsjön Nature Reserve in eastern Gothenburg, a reservoir for the city, construction was approved by the Gothenburg Municipality Assembly on 17 September 1959 after much wrangling. The municipal course, rare for Sweden, was built with the help of 13 corporate sponsors. The club was admitted to the Swedish Golf Federation in 1962 and the full 18 hole course was completed in 1965. Together with Royal Drottningholm Golf Club the club hosted the Volvo Open in 1970, where Frenchman Jean Garaïalde ultimately prevailed over Jack Nicklaus by one shot, while The Open champions Bob Charles, Peter Thomson and Kel Nagle trailed further behind. Nanna Koerstz Madsen (born 23 October 1994) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the American LPGA Tour and maintains membership of the Ladies European Tour (LET). She won the 2022 Honda LPGA Thailand and made history becoming the first Dane to win an LPGA Tour event. The Ahlsell Trophy is a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour, first played in 2011. It is held near Jönköping, Sweden. The tournament was introduced in 2011, in the second season of the Nordea Tour era, and held at A6 Golf Club, named after the Jönköping Garrison of the Småland Artillery Regiment. The Swedish Match Play Championship is a golf tournament played since 1904, held for both men and women. It is the oldest and most traditional golf tournament in Sweden. The name SM is shortening in Swedish language for "Svenska Mästerskapet" (the Swedish Championship). Madelene Maria Sagström (born 13 November 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She won the 2020 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio and was runner-up at the 2021 Women's British Open.
