2013 KHL Junior Draft
The 2013 KHL Junior Draft was the fifth entry draft held by the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), taking place on 25–26 May 2013 in Druzhba Arena. Ice hockey players from around the world aged between 17 and 21 years of age were selected. Players eligible to take part in the draft were required to not have an active contract with a KHL, MHL or VHL team. Donetsk
Donetsk ( , ; uk, Донецьк, translit=Donets'k ; russian: Донецк ), formerly known as Aleksandrovka, Yuzivka (or Hughesovka), Stalin and Stalino (see also: Names of European cities in different languages (C–D), cities' alternative names), is an industrial city in eastern Ukraine located on the Kalmius River in Donetsk Oblast. Metallurg Magnitogorsk
Metallurg Magnitogorsk (russian: Металлург Магнитогорск) is a professional ice hockey team based in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. They are members of the Kharlamov Division of the Kontinental Hockey League. They also competed in the Champions Hockey League, losing the 2008–09 season championship round to Swiss club, the ZSC Lions. Metallurg Magnitogorsk won the Gagarin Cup in the 2013–14 KHL season and the 2015–16 KHL season. Radel Fazleyev (russian: Радель Равилевич Фазлеев; born 7 January 1996) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward who currently plays for Neftyanik Almetievsk of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL). He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers. Playing career Fazleyev signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Flyers on 28 May 2015 and played three seasons with their American Hockey League affiliate the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl
Hockey Club Lokomotiv (russian: ХК Локомотив, en, Locomotive HC), also known as Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, is a Russian professional ice hockey team, based in the city of Yaroslavl, playing in the top level Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The name of the team is derived from its owner, Russian Railways, the national railroad operator. On 7 September 2011, nearly the entire team perished in a Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash, plane crash. The team's flight to a game in Minsk crashed during takeoff, killing all of the team's roster (except forward Maxim Zyuzyakin, who was not on the flight), all coaching staff (except goaltending coach Jorma Valtonen, not on the flight) and four players from the Loko 9 junior ice hockey, juniors squad of the Minor Hockey League (MHL). Yegor Alexeyevich Korshkov (russian: Егор Алексеевич Коршков; born 10 July 1996) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for Amur Khabarovsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). His rights are held by the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Korshkov made his Kontinental Hockey League debut playing with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl during the 2014–15 KHL season. In the 2016 NHL Entry Draft Korshkov was chosen 31st overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs, the highest the team had ever selected a Russian player. Korshkov was scouted out by Evgeny Namestnikov, the same scout who tipped the Leafs off on Nikita Soshnikov a year earlier.
