2010 Portuguese Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2010 Portuguese motorcycle Grand Prix was the penultimate round of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place in the weekend of 29–31 October 2010 at the Autódromo do Estoril located in Estoril, Portugal. MotoGP classification Moto2 classification 125 cc classification The 125cc race was red-flagged after 7 laps due to rain. It was later restarted for 9 laps, with the grid determined by the running order before the suspension. The second part of the race determined the final result. Hiroshi Aoyama
is a Japanese retired Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, and current team principal of Honda Team Asia. Aoyama is best known for winning the 2009 250cc World Championship title. He is the older brother of former 250cc and World Superbike rider, Shuhei Aoyama. In his six seasons in the 250cc World Championship, he raced Honda and KTM machinery in an Aprilia-dominated class. Marco Melandri (born 7 August 1982) is an Italian retired motorcycle road racer who is a five-time premier class race winner. He is the 2002 250 cc World Champion and runner-up in 125 cc, MotoGP and Superbike World Championship. He competed in the MotoGP class from 2003 to 2010 and then a brief return with Aprilia in 2015.
