Álvaro Bautista Arce (born 21 November 1984) is a Spanish people, Spanish motorcycle road racing, road racer. He won the 2022 Superbike World Championship, 2022 and 2023 Superbike World Championship, 2023 Superbike World Championship with the Ducati factory team. He was the 2006 Grand Prix motorcycle racing, 125cc World Champion and runner-up in Grand Prix motorcycle racing, 250cc, and finished in the top six in MotoGP in and . He competed in the MotoGP class from 2010 to 2018. Bautista competed for the Suzuki MotoGP, Suzuki team in his first two years after moving to the MotoGP class in . Talavera De La Reina
Talavera de la Reina () is a city and municipalities of Spain, municipality of Spain, part of the autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Castile–La Mancha. Its population of 83,303 makes it the second most populated municipality of the province of Toledo and the fourth largest in the region. 2020 Superbike World Championship
The 2020 Motul FIM Superbike World Championship was the 33rd season of the Superbike World Championship. Race calendar and results The 2020 season calendar was announced on 21 November 2019, with 13 rounds scheduled. The championship visited Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (on 19 and 20 September) for the first time, and a round was due to be staged at Oschersleben – on 1 and 2 August – for the first time since . Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Losail round was postponed to an unannounced date and the Jerez, Assen, Aragon and Misano rounds were rescheduled to a later date, while the Imola and Oschersleben rounds were cancelled. Jorge Martínez (motorcyclist)
Jorge Martínez Salvadores (born 29 August 1962), nicknamed "Aspar", is a Spanish former professional motorcycle racer and racing team manager. He competed in the Grand Prix road racing world championships from 1982 to 1997. Martínez is one of the most successful motorcycle racers in Grand Prix motorcycle racing history with 22 Grand Prix victories to his name in the 80 cc class and a further 15 wins in the 125 cc class. After retiring from active competition, Martínez became a successful motorcycle racing team owner. In 2019, Martínez was inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame. Donington Park
Donington Park is a motorsport Race track, circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038. It has a capacity of 120,000, and is also the venue of the Download Festival. Originally part of the Donington Hall estate, it was created as a racing circuit during the period between the First and Second World Wars when the German Silver Arrows were battling for the European Championship. 2002 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season
The 2002 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 54th F.I.M. Road racing World Championship season. The season consisted of 16 races, beginning with the Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix on 7 April 2002 and ending with the Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix on 3 November. The premier class, now renamed MotoGP, introduced new rules and regulations which allowed 990cc four-stroke bikes to race alongside the previous year's 500cc two-stroke bikes. Defending champion Valentino Rossi won his second premier class title by winning 11 races and scoring 355 points. He clinched the title at the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix, with four races left in the season. The 250cc title was won by Marco Melandri who won nine races and scored 298 points. Héctor Barberá Vall (born 2 November 1986) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He competes in MotoAmerica aboard a BMW S1000RR. Career Born in Dos Aguas, Valencia Province, Barberá began his World Championship career at the age of 15 in the 125cc world championship, under the guidance of Jorge Martínez "Aspar", who teamed Barberá and fellow youngster Ángel Rodríguez up with the experienced Pablo Nieto. Alberto Puig
Alberto Puig (born 16 January 1967) is a Spanish former Grand Prix solo motorcycle professional road racer who is team manager for the Honda HRC Castrol team in MotoGP. Motorcycle racing career Puig had his best year in 1994, when he finished in fifth place in the 500 cc class. In 1995, Puig became the first Spanish competitor to win his home nation's 500 cc Grand Prix when he won the 1995 Spanish Grand Prix. He then scored two more podium results to place himself in third place in the world championship, before he crashed heavily during practice for the 1995 French Grand Prix and broke his left leg, ending his season prematurely.
