Héctor Barberá Vall (born November 2, 1986) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He competes in MotoAmerica aboard a BMW S1000RR. Career Born in Dos Aguas, Valencia Province, Barberá began his World Championship career at the age of 15 in the 125cc world championship, under the guidance of Jorge Martínez "Aspar", who teamed Barberá and fellow youngster Ángel Rodríguez up with the experienced Pablo Nieto. In his first season Barberá established himself as the most promising rider of the three and in he broke through, with his first victory at Donington Park making him one of the youngest riders ever to win a Grand Prix. Jorge Martínez (motorcyclist)
Jorge Martínez Salvadores, nicknamed "Aspar", (born 29 August 1962) is a Spanish former professional motorcycle racer and racing team manager. He competed in the Grand Prix road racing world championships from 1982 to 1997. After retiring from active competition, Martínez became a successful motorcycle racing team owner. He is one of the most successful motorcycle racers in Grand Prix motorcycle racing history with 22 Grand Prix victories to his name in the 80 cc class and a further 15 wins in the 125 cc class. In 2019, Martínez was inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame. Motorcycle racing career Martínez was born in Alzira, Valencia, Spain. He entered his first Grand Prix in 1982. A two-stroke (or two-stroke cycle) engine is a type of internal combustion engine that completes a Thermodynamic power cycle, power cycle with two strokes (up and down movements) of the piston during one power cycle, this power cycle being completed in one revolution of the crankshaft. 2009 Valencian Community Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2009 Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix was the last round of the 2009 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 6–8 November 2009 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. It was the final race of the 250cc two-stroke class, as Moto2 (600cc four-stroke) replaced it from 2010 onwards. The MotoGP race was won by Dani Pedrosa. Hiroshi Aoyama
is a Japanese retired Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, and current team principal of Honda Team Asia. Aoyama is best known for winning the 2009 250cc World Championship title. He is the older brother of former 250cc and World Superbike rider, Shuhei Aoyama. In his six seasons in the 250cc World Championship, he raced Honda and KTM machinery in an Aprilia-dominated class. He took nine victories and never finished lower than seventh overall. By winning the 2009 250cc World Championship, Aoyama become the last winner of this class before its replacement by the Moto2 class in 2010. In 2010 he moved up to the premier class with Interwetten Racing. He stopped competing in MotoGP after the 2014 season and took on the role of HRC test rider and advisor to riders in the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup. Mobility Resort Motegi (モビリティリゾートもてぎ) is a motorsport race track located at Motegi, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Originally named Twin Ring Motegi (ツインリンクもてぎ), the circuit's name came from the facility having two race tracks: a oval and a road course. It was built in 1997 by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., as part of the company's effort to bring the IndyCar Series to Japan, helping to increase their knowledge of American open-wheel racing. The oval was last raced on in 2010, and on 1 March 2022, the name of the track was changed to Mobility Resort Motegi, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the facility. Marco Simoncelli (; 20 January 198723 October 2011), nicknamed Sic (), was an Italian professional motorcycle racer. He competed in the MotoGP World Championship for 10 years from 2002 to 2011. He started in the 125cc class before moving up to the 250cc class in 2006. He won the 2008 250cc World Championship with Gilera. After four years in the intermediate class, he stepped up to the top MotoGP class in 2010, racing with the Honda Gresini Team. He died in an accident at the 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang. Seedorf Racing was a motorcycle racing team owned by Dutch footballer Clarence Seedorf. It took part in the 125cc World Championship from 2003 until 2007.
