2010 FINA Diving World Cup
The 2010 FINA Diving World Cup was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu, People's Republic of China from June 2 to June 6, 2010. It was the 17th FINA Diving World Cup competition. 146 divers from 33 countries and regions competed in this World Cup. The 2010 FINA Diving World Cup is held one year after the 2009 FINA Diving World Championships which was held in Rome. The "Team Event", which combines both male and female divers competing side by side, was included for the first time. This event was held on a trial basis. Viktor Eduardovich Minibaev ( rus, Виктор Эдуардович Минибаев, , ˈvʲiktər mʲɪnʲɪˈba(ɪ̯)ɪf; born 18 July 1991) is a Russian Diving (sport), diver who has won medals at World and European level and competed at three Olympic Games. Career Minibaev's first major international medal came in the men's synchronized 10 metre platform event at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships, 2010 European Championships. Qiu Bo (; born 31 January 1993) is a Chinese diver. He won the silver medal in the 10 metre platform event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is a four-time world champion at the World Aquatics Championships, winning the gold medal three times in the 10m platform event, consecutively in 2011, 2013 and 2015, and winning the gold medal in the synchronized 10m event in 2011. Early life Born in Neijiang, Sichuan, Qiu started diving at the age of 7. His diving career began when a coach spotted him bouncing on a trampoline and drafted him into a state sports school. Illya Olehovych Kvasha ( uk, Ілля Олегович Кваша; born 5 March 1988) is a Ukrainian diver. Competing with Oleksiy Prygorov, he won the bronze medal in the 3 m spring synchro at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Kvasha is also a multiple European champion both individual and synchronised. Career He also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, in both the individual and the synchro with Prygorov. At the 2016 Olympics, he reached the final of the individual 3 m springboard. He specializes in 1m and 3m springboard. He is twice silver medalist of the World Championships in 1m competition and once bronze medalist in 3m synchro event which was his greatest success in a synchro competition since Olympic bronze. Kristian Ipsen (born October 20, 1992) is an American diver, who has been diving competitively since 1998. Diving alongside Troy Dumais, they took the silver medal in the synchronized 3 meter springboard at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships and the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Troy Matthew Dumais (born January 21, 1980) is an American competitive diver from California. Dumais has competed for the United States at four Olympic Games, winning a team bronze medal in the synchronized 3m in 2012. He attended the University of Texas at Austin.
