Illya Kvasha
Illya Olehovych Kvasha ( uk, Ілля Олегович Кваша; born 5 March 1988) is a Ukrainian diver. Competing with Oleksiy Prygorov, he won the bronze medal in the 3 m spring synchro at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Kvasha is also a multiple European champion both individual and synchronised. Career He also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, in both the individual and the synchro with Prygorov. At the 2016 Olympics, he reached the final of the individual 3 m springboard. He specializes in 1m and 3m springboard. He is twice silver medalist of the World Championships in 1m competition and once bronze medalist in 3m synchro event which was his greatest success in a synchro competition since Olympic bronze. Kvasha is one of the most famous and popular modern Ukrainian athletes. He was also thrice awarded The Best Sportsman of the Month by the NOC of Ukraine: in March 2008, April 2009, and June 2017.

FINA Diving World Cup
The FINA Diving World Cup is an international biennial diving competition that was first contested in The Woodlands, Texas in 1979. The 2012 edition served as Diving's test event for the 2012 Olympics, as well as the final qualifying event for Diving at those Games. Tom Daley (UK, b. 21 May 1994) is the youngest medallist at a FINA Diving World Cup. He was aged 13 years 277 days when he won bronze in the 10 m synchro competition in Beijing, China, on 22 February 2008. European Diving Championships
The European Diving Championships are biennial diving competitions, organized by LEN. The meet features divers from Europe, competing in events on 1-meter and 3-meter springboards and on 10-meter platform. The meet has traditionally been held in June. History Diving was an integral part of the European Aquatics Championships since its introduction in 1926. A separate Diving Championships were first held in 2009 in Turin, and featured 10 events: individual diving from 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard and 10-meter platform among both men and women, and synchronized diving from 3-meter springboard and 10-meter platform among both men and women as well. The team event was added for the second edition of the Championships in Turin. The 2016 European Aquatics Championships took place from 9 to 22 May 2016 in London, United Kingdom, in the London Aquatics Centre. It was the thirty second edition of the event, and the second held in the same year as a Summer Olympics. 2012 European Aquatics Championships
The 2012 European Aquatics Championships were held from 14 to 27 May 2012 in Debrecen, Hungary and Eindhoven, Netherlands. The 2012 European Swimming Championships were to take place in Antwerp, Belgium, but were reallocated to the City of Debrecen and were held on the same dates as previously planned, from 21 to 27 May. The Diving Championships were held in Eindhoven from 15 to 20 May. The Synchronised Swimming discipline, originally intended to take place in Antwerp, have also been reallocated, with its continental titles having been contested in Eindhoven. Originally, the Championships had been awarded to Vienna, but later they backed out due to the Great Recession. The 2012 European Water Polo Championships were held separately a few months earlier, from 16 to 29 January, also in Eindhoven, Netherlands. 2010 European Aquatics Championships
The 2010 European Aquatics Championships were held from 4–15 August 2010 in Budapest and Balatonfüred, Hungary. It was the fourth time that the city of Budapest hosts this event after 1926, 1958 and 2006. Events in swimming, diving, synchronised swimming (synchro) and open water swimming were scheduled. The 2010 European Water Polo Championships was held separately, from 29 August – 11 September in Zagreb, Croatia.
