2005 National Women Football Championship
The 2005 National Women Football Championship was the inaugural of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The event took place from 23 to 29 September 2005 at Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad. Punjab won the championship by beating WAPDA 1-0 in the final. Balochistan beat Sindh in the third-place playoff to clinch the third position. 2006 National Women Football Championship
The 2006 National Women Football Championship was the second season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The tournament took place from 19 to 28 August 2006 at Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad. WAPDA won their maiden title by beating Islamabad Football Association, Islamabad 1-0 in the final. Mejzgaan Orakzai of Islamabad won the Best Player award. Islamabad Football Association
The Islamabad Football Association (IFA) is the regional governing body of :association football and futsal in Islamabad, Pakistan. Its headquarters are located in Jinnah Sports Stadium. IFA is responsible for the organization and governance of football's major regional tournaments in Islamabad region including IFA 'A' and 'B' Division Leagues, the Jashan-i-Azadi Football Tournament, and the Islamabad Challenge Cup. It also organizes various Islamabad teams which participate in local and domestic tournaments. As of December 2020, IFA has 42 football clubs as members. IFA has been a permanent member of the Pakistan Football Federation Congress since 2010. It was then given membership for the term 2011-2015. Jinnah Sports Stadium
Jinnah Sports Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 48,000 people and is the largest stadium in Pakistan. Stadium This stadium was built in the 1970s. The stadium was renovated and used for the SAF Games in 2004. National Women Football Championship
The National Women Football Championship is the top cup competition for women's football clubs in Pakistan – designed as an equivalent to the National Challenge Cup for men. It was started in 2005 by the Pakistan Football Federation. Young Rising Stars has been the most successful team in the history of he competition, winning it five times (including four consecutive wins from 2010 to 2013).
