1991 (film)
''1991'' is a Canadian comedy-drama film, directed by Ricardo Trogi and released in 2018. The third film in his semi-autobiographical series after ''1981'' and ''1987'', the film centres on Ricardo's (Jean-Carl Boucher) 1991 trip to Italy to pursue a relationship with Marie-Ève (Juliette Gosselin). The film finished 2018 as the year's top-grossing Canadian film, and was named the winner of the Golden Screen Award at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards. It received 16 Prix Iris nominations at the 21st Quebec Cinema Awards, including Best Film. Plot In 1991, Ricardo Trogi is 21 and studies cinema at UQAM in Montréal. Ricardo Trogi
Ricardo Trogi (born March 25, 1970) is a Canadian filmmaker, director and actor. Career Trogi was born in Quebec City, Quebec. His first two films, ''Québec-Montréal'', about seven twenty-something travellers driving between the two cities, and ''Dodging the Clock (Horloge biologique)'', a look at three men and their decisions about having children, were both critical and commercial hits, with ''Quebec-Montréal'' receiving four Jutra Awards. His third feature titled ''1981'', a semi-autobiographical film about a boy's coming of age, was released in September 2009; it was followed by the sequel films ''1987'' in 2014 and ''1991'' in 2018. In addition to film work, Trogi also directed the 2004-2005 television series ''Smash'' and the 2020 comedy series ''La Maison-Bleue''. "Like a Rolling Stone" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on July 20, 1965, by Columbia Records. Its confrontational lyrics originated in an extended piece of verse Dylan wrote in June 1965, when he returned exhausted from a grueling tour of England. Dylan distilled this draft into four verses and a chorus. "Like a Rolling Stone" was recorded a few weeks later as part of the sessions for the forthcoming album ''Highway 61 Revisited''. During a difficult two-day preproduction, Dylan struggled to find the essence of the song, which was demoed without success in time. A breakthrough was made when it was tried in a rock music format, and rookie session musician Al Kooper improvised the Hammond B2 organ riff for which the track is known. Stowaway
A stowaway or clandestine traveller is a person who secretly boards a vehicle, such as a ship, an aircraft, a train, cargo truck or bus. Sometimes, the purpose is to get from one place to another without paying for transportation. In other cases, the goal is to enter another country without first obtaining a travel visa or other permission. Stowaways differ from people smuggling in that the stowaway needs to avoid detection by the truck driver, ship crew, and others responsible for the safe and secure operation of the transportation service. Thousands of stowaways have travelled by sea or land over the last several centuries. A much smaller number of people have attempted to stowaway on aircraft.
